About The Dance Project at City Arts

The Dance Project at City Arts is one aspect of the NC Dance Project. The dance school provides comprehensive training for people of all ages and skill levels in a nurturing atmosphere that fosters growth, a healthy lifestyle, self-esteem and artistry. All of our teachers are college educated dance professionals with prior teaching experience.

We focus on teaching the whole dancer in a non-competitive environment where dancing is fun and rewarding. Additionally, we offer need-based scholarships and keep our costs low to allow for a diverse cross-section of the community to participate and share in our love of dance.

Our students learn an awareness of how the body works and how movement can be used expressively. We join our dance training with opportunities for community performance. Each spring, students participate in the Spring Showcase for their family and friends, and you may additionally see us out performing in varying Greensboro locations - retirement centers, schools, etc!

Whether you are looking for a new experience, a means of staying fit, or a professional career, you deserve the best instruction around.

From all the teachers and staff at the Dance Project - we hope you enjoy dancing with us!
