About The Dance Project at City Arts

We offer professional caliber classes for all kinds of people. We focus on teaching the whole student in a no-frills, non-competitive environment where dancing is fun and rewarding, and students progress to their fullest potential.

We believe in taking the time to warm up carefully to avoid injury. Our students learn an awareness of how the body works, how movement can be used expressively, and the skills needed for a successful learning experience.

Whether you are looking for a satisfying physical activity, a means of staying fit, or a professional career, you and your child deserve the best instruction around.

FREE DRUMMING AND DANCING WORKSHOP

NCDP is offering a FREE Drumming and Dancing workshop July 6-24th for children ages 10-16yrs. The workshop will be held at Peeler Recreation Center from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Students must be able to attend every class. There will be 4 performances held during the last week at various community centers.

Adult Summer Classes

Summer Classes run June 15-August 15. Adult classes are only $10 per class or $75 for 8 weeks of class. Classes meet in beautiful Studio 323 at the Greensboro Cultural Center. Check out of new teachers! Call us for more details!

Beginning Ballet with Sarah Wildes Arnett - Mondays 6:00-7:00

Hip Hop with Amanda Diorio - Mondays 5:15-6:15 (June 1-22 & August 3-24)

Intermediate/Advanced Modern with Jan Van Dyke - Tuesdays 6:30-8:00

Intermediate/Advanced Ballet with Ali Duffy- Wednesdays 6:00-7:30

African/Modern Fusion with Wesley Williams - Wednesdays 7:30-9:00

Jazz with Elizabeth Lane - Thursdays 7:30-8:30 Tap - Thursdays 6:30-7:30

Now Registering For Summer Camps and Classes

The Dance Project at City Arts is now registering for Summer Camps and Classes! Please click on "Classes" for schedules and registration forms. Register before April 15th to receive tuition discounts! Prices will adjust to $55 for a 45 minute weekly class and $75 for a 1 hour weekly class. Sign-up today!
